Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing facilities maintenance tasks. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
- General sweeping of areas such as labs, offices, lecture halls
- Tidy up main areas by removing unneeded items, picking up misplaced items, throwing out garbage to respective disposal areas
- Sweep, tidy up, general maintenance of lecture halls, labs, offices
- Wipe visible surfaces including counter tops, window ledges, pillars
- Check general furniture to ensure it is in good working condition
- Wipe and sweep countertops and floors in washrooms
- Perform other tasks assigned from time to time
Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is an asset
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with sanitization protocols / Sanitization Experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
