We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation for service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy hours by ensuring timely food delivery
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Good understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team under pressure
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
