We are looking for a skilled laborer to help our Foreman at our busy Stirling Meadows site in Brockville! Mackie Homes is a Tarion registered home builder located in the greater Ottawa area, Ottawa Valley and, Brockville area. We have been building homes since 2012 and we are looking to expand our team with a knowledgeable and friendly handy person.
We are looking for a skilled individual to join our crew as a Site Attendant/General Laborer to assist with general every day needs under the direction of the site Foreman. This important position offers great potential for personal growth and a diverse daily work flow. The successful candidate will be job ready with knowledge of a busy residential construction site, understand Ontario building code and will be working with our construction team to deliver a quality constructed home with premium finishes our client's are accustomed to.
The successful candidate will be local to the Brockville or surrounding area, have their own transportation, will be working outdoors and act as a representative of Mackie Homes on the jobsite receiving requests from trades and a liaison on site where required. A minimum of 2 years job site experience with an understanding of concrete foundations, framing, rough-in construction is considered an asset.
Hourly wage will vary based on experience and ability ($25.00-$30.00). Experience and knowledge of residential construction is essential for this position. Company benefits available and a team environment to help support you.
Must have own vehicle and valid license and your own set of power tools to be job ready.
Work is available 8-4 Mon- Fri.
