What does a Corporate Security Guard in Calgary do?
- Manage access and protection in security areas including gates, docks, patrol and visitor.
- Must be able to learn and rotate between different positions on site.
- Inspection and screening of individuals entering and leaving security areas.
- Interior/Exterior patrols
- Greet customers and register visitors as needed
- Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency
- Perform audits and inspections of services and personnel, ensuring clients requirements are met.
- Responding to various types of alarms on site
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Calgary
- Valid Alberta security guard license and first aid card
- Available to work flexible hours
- Must be living in Canada for minimum of five years to qualify for reliability clearance status check.
- 1 year of experience in security minimum
- Must have a reliable vehicle to get to site. Free parking available.
