Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet our quality standards. This is a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintains complete and accurate records of QA documents.
- Performs inspections on incoming, in-process and final product.
- Verifies production process records and follows up with operators daily.
- Documents issues and concerns for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Maintains complete inventory records of inspection tools.
- Conducts internal audits of our products and processes to ensure compliance with all company and customer standards, including ISO 9001
- Reviews and addresses customer complaints.
- Manages non-conformance records (NCR) by issuing NCR’s, corrective actions, and monthly reports.
- lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience with QMS under ISO 9001-2015.
- QA/QC experience in manufacturing, packaging, and/or distribution.
- Ability to read CAD drawings.
- Familiar with First Article inspection (FAI)
- Able to measure in metric and imperial.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Accountable and reliable, a quick learner.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills and has excellent deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize amidst the pressure of tight deadlines and to handle all enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Bilingual, French and English
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and ERP/MRP systems.Experience:
- - Proven experience in quality management, quality inspection, and quality control- Familiarity with fabricating processes and techniques- Strong background in project management and process improvement- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights for continuous quality enhancement- Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and best practicesThis position requires a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills.
