Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
- Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement pricing strategies and monitor inventory purchasing to meet sales targets while controlling costs.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience through effective communication skills.
- Conduct sales analysis and utilize marketing strategies to increase store traffic and revenue.
- Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and recordkeeping to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute sales plans, monitor store KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Foster a team-oriented environment by motivating staff through leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, merchandising software, and basic bookkeeping.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, sales management, and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, purchasing procedures, and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors and manage budgets efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Strong time management skills with the capacity to oversee daily operations while planning for long-term growth.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
