Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including cashiering and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, bar, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables or bar patrons while managing multiple tables efficiently.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts.
- Uphold all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.
