Reporting to our Landscape Gardener, the Assistant Gardener will take pride and ownership in helping to maintain the grounds of our 25 acre property.
Duties include:
- Maintaining established garden areas and creating new ones.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of a produce garden for our Kitchen.
- Mulching, pruning, watering and weeding of the gardens.
- Organic plant feeding using compost and compost tea.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Horticultural knowledge and experience is preferred. We offer a positive work environment and are looking for a team player who works well with others.
This is a part-time, seasonal position. We offer flexibility in the work schedule, some regular weekend work is required.
