Golfers Hideaway is an indoor golf facility located in Komoka, ON N0L 1R0. We offer play, training, fittings, repairs and everything golf. Our goal is to create an exceptional customer experience for everyone entering the building by adding Sports Bar Associates to our team.
Our work environment and duties:
- Create connections with players by providing high quality service, food, beverage and an inviting atmosphere to help promote repeat and new business
- Sports and people enthusiast who enjoys serving players in a bar and simulator environment
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcohol beverages to players, monitoring players alcohol consumption and helping to prevent over-intoxication
- Exercise safe food handling and sanitation processes to ensure the protection of players and staff
- Book reservations for simulators
- Set up players on TrackMan and GC Hawk simulators (training provided)
- Lively atmosphere
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and in-person
- Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and product information
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensuring company systems and processes in place are followed and carried through
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and practices
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and simulator area while ensuring supplies are available to players
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management process to maintain appropriate supply levels and notify Manager of inventory requirements
Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Capable of working well independently and multi-task effectively
- Ability to contribute to an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honest and mutual respect
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and strong comfort level with technology
- Ability to analyze players needs and concerns and provide immediate and effectively appropriate solutions
Qualification
- 2 years experience in an elevated restaurant/bar environment
- Valid Smart Serve Certificate required
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate required
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
- Keen interest in sports and will have actively participated in sports activities
