Job Summary
The Security Guard’s primary function will be to monitor and authorize entrances of vehicles or people in the property and protect people and property from possible criminal activity.
The shift will be from Monday - Friday: 2pm - 10:30pm.
Job Responsiblities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents or suspicious activities.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Job Specific Requirement/Knowledge/Experience:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods while performing patrol duties.
