We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team. This role involves promoting our products and services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a professional presence both in-person and over the phone. Experience in dealership sales, retail environments, or automotive repair is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate organizational skills, proficiency with POS systems, and a solid understanding of sales management principles. Bilingual abilities and familiarity with Microsoft Excel are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- Assist in order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining product displays
- Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, phone etiquette, and professional demeanor
- Utilize marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote ongoing promotions or specials
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks
- Support maintenance of dealership or retail space to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve overall store performance
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or retail sales background is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and order fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of automotive repair or maintenance services is a plus
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team environment while independently managing customer interactions
