Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with basic math skills
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during food handling and serving
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to uphold a welcoming environment
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and resolving concerns efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus, but, we are willing to train.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment through excellent time management skills
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Food industry or hospitality background is advantageous; kitchen experience is a bonus
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
