The HRBP Associate role provides foundational support that enables the HRBP's to operate effectively and strategically. This role enhances our team’s capacity by assisting with key activities such as client meetings, ER/LR matters, investigations, etc. and ensures high-quality HR services across all FNHA departments. This role is a developmental steppingstone into an HRBP position.
Title: HR Business Partner Associate
Salary: $76,530 - $90,879 - $ 105,229 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8:30 am-4:30pm Mon- Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver office- located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About the role
As a HR Business Partner Associate, you will be reporting to the Director, HR Advisory Services, the HRBP Associate provides HR generalist support to the HR Business Partners including addressing internal and external inquiries related to FNHA’s human resources programs, policies, and processes such as performance management, disciplinary measures and attendance management.

To be successful in this role you will have/be
Education and Experience

Human Resources degree/diploma and/or other professional training in human resources/labour relations

3+ years of progressively more responsible human resources generalist experience, preferably in a complex, multi-union environment

HRIS, PeopleSoft, MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and Visio
Occupational Certification
-
CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) or working towards is preferred

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full-time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
