As a Business Operations Intern, you will support the operations of Microsoft Canada across all major strategic pillars: Customer Acquisition, Consumption, Licensing and Operational Process. You will have exciting learning opportunities by taking on strategic operations and process improvement projects, all in the spirit of digital transformation.
Partner closely with key business stakeholders to support business processes with an eye for how to improve them over time (Licensing, Pipeline & Budget Management, Gap Analysis)
Conduct competitive analysis, coordination of deal reviews, market campaigns and event support, pricing analysis, development of specialized dashboards, and drive tools adoption as needed for key business stakeholders
Spearhead our Azure Bootcamp Program at University Campuses across the country
Facilitate budget, rhythm of business, and reviews covering commercial business segments
Drive improvement of reporting assets, map reporting requirements to Corporate reports available, train business users on their functionality, and reconcile new reports coming online with existing stack
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, information technologies, computer science, computer engineering or related fields (with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship).
Available for an 8-month consecutive internship starting Spring 2021
Some experience and interest in analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, etc.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and translate it into actionable next steps
Strong interest in process management and improvement
Self-starter attitude with a desire to learn and seek feedback to improve results
Excellent communications skills and an ability to work across a diverse audience of stakeholders
