This is a field-based position, with approximately 75% of working time spent visiting job sites, supporting installation personnel, monitoring quality, and resolving customer or service concerns.
About the Role
The Installation Manager is responsible for ensuring flooring installations meet Orange Room, client, safety, and industry standards. You will build and support a dependable network of installation personnel, maintain installer capacity, oversee job-site quality, and help ensure projects are completed professionally and on schedule.

- Review work orders and reinforce expectations for professional conduct, appearance, apparel, and vehicles.
- Provide technical support by phone and on site.
- Lead the resolution of urgent installation, service, and customer concerns.
- Coordinate corrective work and service repairs when required.
- Work with customers, installation personnel, and The Home Depot to develop practical solutions while managing costs and chargebacks.
- Ensure installation personnel comply with applicable provincial requirements, client guidelines, and company safety procedures.
- Monitor local installation costs, retail pricing, and competitive market rates.
- Communicate regularly with the Regional Manager regarding installer capacity, service performance, significant issues, and branch results.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant experience in flooring, construction services, skilled trades, field operations, or a comparable leadership role.
- Experience leading teams, contractors, or service-provider networks.
- Strong knowledge of installation quality and job-site expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer-service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- The confidence to make sound decisions and manage difficult situations.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure with limited supervision.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort using digital work-order and communication tools.
- The ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Vancouver Island.
