Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely food delivery
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure all food is stored properly to prevent spoilage and contamination
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
