Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as RRW/CCA Casual staff. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal service to meet individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning resident areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
- Assist individuals with disabilities or dementia with personalized care plans tailored to their needs
- Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly valued
- Ability to handle medication administration accurately and responsibly
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliable transportation is beneficial for community-based roles
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols related to healthcare settings
