We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Rep to generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, relationship development, and consultative sales. This role will be responsible for identifying prospects, developing leads, conducting sales conversations, closing appropriate opportunities, and referring larger and more complex opportunities to our executive team.
This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, while contributing to the growth of a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients across Canada
- Achieve a minimum of 6-8 live conversations with decision makers or key contacts per day
- Research target organizations and identify key decision-makers in Human Resources, Health & Safety, Operations, Finance, and Disability Management.
- Executive outreach campaigns through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales channels
Sales & Relationship Development
- Conduct introductory and discovery calls with prospective clients.
- Identify client challenges and align Matrix Consulting's solutions to their needs.
- Prepare proposals and pricing for designated service offerings.
- Negotiate and close qualified opportunities within assigned authority levels.
- Maintain regular follow-up activities and nurture prospective client relationships.
- Create positive first impressions that reflect Matrix Consulting's professional reputation and expertise.
Executive Support
- Identify larger, more strategic, or complex opportunities and transition them to the Executive team.
- Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings for our Executive.
- Work collaboratively to ensure seamless handoff of opportunities.
- Support the achievement of organizational sales and growth objectives.
Pipeline and CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prospect interactions, opportunities, and client communications.
- Tract activity metrics, conversion rates, and sales outcomes.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales and activity targets.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Inside Sales, Consultative Selling and/or Account Management.
- Proven experience generating business through outbound prospecting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls.
- Professional, confident, and persuasive communication style.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling professional services or consulting solutions.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation, disability management, occupational health, HR, and/or insurance industries.
