Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and efficient dining environment. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and enthusiasm are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, such as Snappy, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer service.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to promote smooth restaurant operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
