About No Limits Underground
No Limits Underground Ltd. is a privately owned underground utility contractor based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We specialize in directional drilling, utility installation, hydrovac, excavation, and underground infrastructure work throughout Manitoba and surrounding areas.
We are a growing local company with a strong focus on production, safety, quality workmanship, and building long-term careers for the right people. We are not looking for someone who just wants to sit in a truck — we are looking for someone who understands hydrovac work, takes pride in keeping equipment clean and productive, and knows how important safe daylighting is around underground utilities.
If you are an experienced Hydrovac Operator who wants steady work, overtime opportunities, modern equipment, and room to grow with a strong utility construction company, this could be the right fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Hydrovac Operator will be responsible for operating hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently on underground utility construction projects.
This role may include:
- Operating hydrovac trucks for daylighting, trenching, pole holes, slot trenching, utility exposure, and excavation support
- Working around live underground utilities including telecommunications, hydro, gas, water, sewer, and other infrastructure
- Supporting directional drilling, excavation, watermain, fibre, and utility installation crews
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Hauling, dumping, cleaning, and maintaining the hydrovac unit
- Working as part of a crew to complete safe, efficient, and high-quality work
This is a hands-on role. A good Hydrovac Operator at NLU is not afraid to get out of the truck, help the crew, manage hoses, expose utilities properly, clean up the site, and keep the unit running productively.
