Here we GROW again! We are looking for Production Workers to join our Production team in our Wholesale facility, where hundreds of species of plants, flowers, veggies, and herbs are grown for retail distribution.
Summary
The Production Worker is responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the greenhouse production facilities based on a strong knowledge of Bradford Greenhouses’ product and product availability. This individual will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. This individual will assemble, create, pick, and prepare product for shipments for the loading facilities. The Production Worker will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean greenhouse environment. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
Job Duties
- Assist with checking raw materials, matching production orders for assembly and processing merchandise for distribution.
- Read work orders or instructions for proper and accurate production according to specifications.
- Move materials and items from storage areas to assembly area or to other designated areas.
- Jan., Feb., Mar., - produce “sticks” (stick little cuttings into soil plugs in trays for greenhouse growth).
- Apr., produce baskets...pots from flat filler to conveyor, need to have 5 or 6 separate plugs to produce mixed basket according to work orders.
- “Sticking” requires sitting for extended periods of time.
- “Planting” requires standing for extended periods of time.
- X-mas - cutting slight branches for pot and wreath displays.
- Properly tag, count and log items for accurate inventory.
- Always organize work area for orderliness.
- May be required to transport finished goods to proper greenhouse area for further maintenance and growth.
- May be required to transport finished goods to staging area for shipping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Working knowledge of Bradford Greenhouses plant products and asset.
- Ability to drive a forklift an asset.
- Ability to perform repetitive light movements.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
