Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver memorable guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in all aspects of service
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks with effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive reviews
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for handling bills and payments
- Experience with food handling, serving, cashiering, and hospitality is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
