Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is highly desirable.
