Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a temporary three-day assignment. This role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in a home or assisted living setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive and respectful assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal setup and serving food
- Provide regular assistance with bathroom visits throughout the day
- Assist with personal hygiene and cleanup after toileting
- Change and reapply incontinence products as needed
- Ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
- Provide companionship and supervision during care hours
Requirements:
- Experience providing personal care to seniors
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and toileting needs
- PSW certification preferred but not required if experienced
