Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Be HARP Certified for taking Dental X-rays,
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout the practice ensuring compliance with IPAC regulations.
- Support the dental receptionist with administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
- Experience in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
