Therapeutic Specialist Representative – Urology & Bone Health
The Therapeutic Specialist is responsible for implementing the Sanofi Regional plan to assure maximum distribution and market penetration of Sanofi and products within Sanofi guidelines, policies and directives. S/he will conduct his/her business with key targeted specialized physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, health care professionals, etc. Is recognized as trusted advisor by KOL and has a significant contribution to the overall team. S/he will act as a product/content expert. Comprehend larger systems that customers work in. S/he ensure continued adherence to the ethical and legal standards relating to our commercial practices including the current IMC code.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR THIS JOB
Has/Develops/Maintains knowledge and relationships to identify and develop opportunities in the territory/institution
Integrates all new data and work with market access to influence reimbursement process and guideline publication
Uses information to acquire knowledge and identify market opportunities in order to influence targeted specialized healthcare professionals to support the use of Sanofi promoted products
Deepens relationships and builds influence with advocates
Develops and executes strategy and tactics to ensure consistent company sales and marketing messages
Manage company resources efficiently and effectively.
Identifies needs at the institution/community/territory level and provides a broad scope of valuable information and services to individuals and groups that help them be more successful
Identifies customer needs and contributing to the institutional plan along with the Key Account Managers.
Demonstrates technical product, market and health system knowledge
Delivers value through customizing tactics to meet customer needs.
Liaise with colleagues on core customers and key systems aspects.
Contributes to team selling efforts
Contributes to team problem solving
Tracks trends in institutional, physician practices and analyzes these to identify new opportunities to build Sanofi influence
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
University degree with ability to learn medical information
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
Ability to navigate the hospital system and develop sound business partnerships with key decision makers
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical specialty products, policies, and marketing direction
Working knowledge or technical knowledge in 2-3 disease area or demonstrated knowledge of chronic desease.

Approximately 40% travel including overnights.
