Looking for a professional skilled carpenter in the commercial contracting industry. We are looking for someone that has experience and potential to grow within our company. We are seeking someone that has the ability to manage and direct a job site and can work in a fast pace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Assigning and explaining tasks onsite
- Supervising the company's less skilled workers, labourers and subcontractors onsite in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Performing all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry, ICF Forming, and exterior façade work
- Fitting and installing trim, t-bar ceilings, drywall, doors, moulding and hardware
- Framing metal and wood
- Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per year
Experience:
- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
