The City of Mission is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to join our team as a Bylaw Patroller – Community Response on a full-time basis. This position plays a vital role in promoting public safety, supporting local businesses, and engaging respectfully with vulnerable populations. Through proactive patrols, public education, and bylaw enforcement, you will contribute to fostering a safe, inclusive, and thriving community.
In this role, you will conduct visible patrols in business hubs and public spaces, respond to calls for service, and build positive relationships with residents, businesses, and community partners. You will also provide outreach and connect vulnerable individuals with appropriate services, educate the public on bylaws to encourage voluntary compliance, and enforce regulations through warnings and fines when necessary. Collaboration with RCMP, community agencies, and outreach teams will be an important part of the position, as will accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and enforcement activities.
