We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for Cross Dock Forklift Loaders in Brampton, ON
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Midnight Start from Tues-Sat OR Sun-Thurs
Location: Brampton, ON
Rate: $25-27/hour
Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately picking, replenishing, and staging freight lines
- Loading LTL freight with skids of various shapes and sizes
- Must be able to load freight “high and tight” to maximize space
- Must have experience with high volume Western Canada lanes
- Safely operate counterbalance forklift
- Effectively communicating with team to ensure transport operations continues smoothly
Requirements:
- 2 years experience with counterbalance forklift
- Experience working in a cross-dock environment loading LTL trailers
- Experience with Western Canada lanes
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Dependable to work independently with no supervision
- "Can-Do " attitude with flexibility to assist wherever is needed
- Clean criminal background required
