Job brief:

  • Associated Valve in Edmonton, Alberta, is looking for a Sales Territory Manager to help drive sales revenue and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area. In this role, we seek a motivated industrial valve sales professional with outstanding organizational and sales skills, who is an excellent communicator and who understands customer needs. If you have industrial valve sales experience, are goal-driven, analytical, then we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed annual sales and revenue objectives
  • Cultivate a defined customer base within a specified geography
  • Prospect and source new customers within a specified geography
  • Engage customers and prospects via onsite visits, email and phone
  • Insure all customers understand our complete offering and solution set
  • Work and liaise with the inside technical sales team
  • Provide customer service support when required
  • Experienced with a CRM

Requirements:

  • Industrial valve experience - 5 to 10 years
  • Proven experience as a Sales Territory Manager – 5 to 10 years
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue - field sales experience is mandatory
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solver
  • Post secondary education
