Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients to meet our standard
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations and all areas of the kitchen
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures set in place
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining communication
- Adhere to health regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining experience for guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
