Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, and private homes. Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including hygiene and comfort measures
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship and engagement
- Administer medications following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing to maintain a safe environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support patients with dementia or hospice needs with patience, understanding, and specialized techniques
- Assist with light physical activities or exercises to promote mobility and health
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care procedures, including medication administration and dementia care
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized attention such as hospice or dementia care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and maintain physical stamina for caregiving duties
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require evening or weekend availability
- Certification in caregiving or related healthcare training is a plus but not mandatory
