The Autobody Repair Technician is responsible for:
- Exterior panel repair and replacement
- Structural panel repair and replacement
- Removal and installation of undamaged components
- Supplementary Restraint Systems (SRS), including airbag systems
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Glass removal, installation, and replacement
- Basic mechanical and suspension work
- Rivet and adhesive bonding methods
- Aluminum repair
Qualifications
- Minimum four years of experience in autobody repair
- Steel GMA Welding certification from I-CAR Canada or training from a recognized vocational or post-secondary institution is considered an asset
- Journeyperson certification is preferred; apprentices and lower-level technicians are also encouraged to apply
- Valid driver's licence with a safe driving record
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Eight-hour shifts
- No weekend work
