We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our team at Curate Health. Our clinic is built on the principles of patient-centered care, environmental sustainability, and innovation in healthcare. We aim to transform the way health clinics are viewed, by offering a holistic range of services from medical, rehab, wellness, and fitness, to a fully integrated in-house health food cafe! As a psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support and guidance to individuals dealing with mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients to help them navigate their emotions, develop coping strategies, and improve their well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, including reviewing their history and conducting clinical interviews
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients’ needs, goals, and therapeutic modalities
- Provide individual, couples, or group therapy sessions to address clients’ specific concerns and promote emotional well-being
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), or psychodynamic therapy
- Help clients develop coping mechanisms, improve communication skills, and enhance their self-esteem
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with CPBAO standards

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Psychologist in Ontario (CPBAO)
- Valid Malpractice Insurance
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a psychologist, preferably in a clinic or private practice setting
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, assessment tools, and treatment approaches
- Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing psychological conditions
- Expertise in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and active listening skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and health care professional
- Ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions and challenges
- Expertise in integrated health and the gut-brain connection, emphasizing the interplay between mental health and the other aspects of health and wellness
