We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kinesiologist to join Novo Peak Health. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and support recovery and rehabilitation efforts. This role requires strong communication skills, kinesiology knowledge, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. This is a position in a Long-Term Care Home, Retirement Home, and/or Community setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess physical condition of fall prevention class participants primarily for strength, endurance, and balance
- Provide feedback to class instructor to help to guide class content, level of difficulty, and safety of participants
- Monitor and re-assess class participant progress and adjust class content/level of difficulty accordingly
- Document assessment findings accurately in electronic medical records
- Manage case documentation efficiently, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report writing and data management
Experience
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care Home or Retirement Home settings or with an elderly client population is helpful and preferred
- Previous experience as an R. Kin
- A degree/diploma in Kinesiology
- Strong analysis skills, time management, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with fall prevention class content and participant needs are a plus

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
