We are looking for an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to support our Calgary business who is experienced in projects similar to ours, which have concrete parkade and are 6 story wood frame multi-family residential buildings. This is an important part of the project team, responsible to support overall project requirements, while leading people as effectively as you lead construction activities. Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with refrigerants and other hazardous materials
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in building, welding, and fabricating components as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find effective solutions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
