About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Supply Childcare Worker to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and values flexibility. As a supply staff member, you will support our childcare educators by filling in during staff absences, busy periods, and special events.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Support daily routines, including meals, transitions, and outdoor play
- Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, and health & safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with permanent staff and communicate effectively with families
Requirements
- Previous childcare experience required
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible availability
- Valid certifications as required by local regulations (e.g., First Aid/CPR, background check)
