Intent of the process
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to fill various positions of various tenures (e.g. casual, term and indeterminate) within the Correctional Service of Canada.

Degree equivalency

Experience in providing administrative support services in a client service environment.
Experience using common word processing, spreadsheet and email software such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Graduation with a diploma from a recognized college in a program relevant to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

  • Significant experience in providing administrative support in a client service environment.

Experience in the use of a human resources management information system.
Experience in providing administrative support in recruitment and/or staffing.
Experience in providing administrative support services in classification.
Experience in providing administrative support services in compensation.
Experience in providing administrative support services in employment equity or official languages.
Experience in providing administrative support services in labour relations.
Experience in providing administrative support services in the Federal Public Service.
Experience working with minimal supervision.
Experience working as part of a team.
