English Teacher (Substitute Position – Potential Full-Time)
Term: July 6 – August 24
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (4 hours per day) + 1:05 PM - 2 PM (Monday - Thursday)
Class Timetable
Block 1: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Block 2: 10:40 AM - 11:30 AM
Block 3: 11:40 AM - 12:30 PM
Block 4: 1:05 PM - 2 PM
ANNE'S Language House (ALH) is seeking a qualified and experienced English teacher with a passion for helping international students improve their English skills.
ALH is a private ESL school that offers small class sizes to ensure active student participation and personalized learning. This position is intended to cover a main teacher’s absence due to vacation, illness, or other circumstances, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role.
Requirements:
- TESL Canada Level One Professional certification or equivalent*
- Minimum of 1 year of ESL teaching experience
- Strong passion for teaching and student development
- Excellent communication skills, especially with non-native English speakers
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- ESL teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
