Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Front Office Manager, the Commissionaire will serve as the first point of contact for all arriving guests and visitors to the property. This role is responsible for managing vehicle arrivals, directing traffic flow, coordinating parking operations, and delivering a welcoming and professional first impression. The Commissionaire works closely with the Front Desk, Restaurant Hosts, and Valet Team to ensure a seamless guest arrival experience while maintaining efficient use of available parking resources.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:-
Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests and visitors in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner

Serve as the first point of contact at the property entrance, providing information, directions, and assistance as required

Qualify arriving vehicles to determine guest type, including hotel guests, restaurant patrons, villa guests, and visitors

Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas based on guest type, availability, and operational priorities

Maintain awareness of parking capacity and assist in managing available parking spaces across the property
-
Monitor and manage vehicle traffic flow at property entrances to minimize congestion and ensure safe operations

Communicate parking availability and traffic conditions with Front Desk, Restaurant Hosts, Valet Attendants, and operational leaders

Coordinate with the Valet Team regarding parking capacity, guest arrivals, VIP arrivals, and special parking requirements

Identify VIP guests and premium vehicles and ensure appropriate valet services are offered

Assist guests requiring mobility support, luggage assistance coordination, or other special accommodations

Act as a visible and professional ambassador of the property, maintaining a polished appearance and positive attitude at all times

Follow all company safety, security, and operational policies and procedures; report hazards, incidents, or concerns immediately

Utilize radios and other communication equipment to maintain effective communication between departments

Perform other duties as required

Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, concierge services, valet operations, security, or customer service is considered an asset
