We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team at a local Furniture store.
This role involves delivering furniture and mattresses to customers, assisting in warehouse operations, and supporting showroom merchandising.
The ideal candidate is physically capable, professional, and committed to providing excellent customer service, with a strong sense of pride in representing the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, mattreses, and other goods safely and efficiently
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and timely manner
- Receive and organize incoming warehouse inventory
- Perform pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles
- Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs
- Assist with floor merchandising and showroom setup as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (must be provided)
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Must be bondable
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate professionalism in customer service
- Hardworking, dependable, and reliable
- Must be able to work weekends
- Strong communication skills, a great attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
