We are looking for full time experienced warehouse associate to help with warehousing, shipping, and receiving. We are conveniently located at the walking distance from new Vaughan Metropolitan Center Subway station.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience preferably in the window and door manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and understand measurements and work orders
- Reliable & Punctual to work each day
- Comfortable with standing during work hours and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Regular working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Shipping, Warehousing, and Facilities Associate
Note: This is a physically intensive role requiring the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy windows and doors on a continuous basis throughout the day. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and performing repetitive material handling tasks
- Support the quality control, wrapping, scanning and warehousing of products coming off the production line
- Ensure that all product currently warehoused is set correctly, rectify issues as noticed
- Receive, label, and scan incoming products, and route received product to correct department
- Support with loading trucks as needed
- Support with picking orders as needed
- Ad hoc requests from management to repair, construct, adjust etc., any equipment, tools, or other parts of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas
Required: Forklift License, Drivers License G class
