Experienced Moving Helper (Part-Time / On-Call)
We are looking for experienced and reliable moving helpers to join our team. Work is available on an as-needed basis, with increased demand expected toward the end of the month and opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload household and commercial furniture safely
- Wrap, protect, and secure items for transport
- Carry furniture up and down stairs when required
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and furniture assembly/disassembly
- Follow instructions from the crew leader and work efficiently as part of a team
- Provide professional, respectful customer service at every job
Requirements:
- Previous professional moving experience is required
- Physically fit and able to safely lift and carry heavy furniture throughout the day
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- No medical or physical conditions that would prevent performing the essential duties of the job safely
- Legally authorized to work in Canada with valid documentation
- Reliable transportation to job sites or meeting points is an asset
