Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, and carpentry. This role requires hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding. The <PERSON> will play a vital role in executing construction projects efficiently and safely, contributing to high-quality building and renovation work.
Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing tasks, and assist with restoration projects
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for various construction tasks
- Perform carpentry work including cutting, fitting, and assembling wood structures
- Use welding techniques to join metal components as required
- Handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment around the job site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate construction work
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Skilled in siding installation and general carpentry practices
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of welding processes for metal fabrication tasks
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently
- Prior experience working with woodworking materials and techniques is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise craftsmanship
