We are currently searching for an experienced in-house, high-volume Recruiter to join our team, located in Richmond BC. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Manager, Human Resources and will be an integral part of our Human Resources team. The main responsibilities for this role will include partnering with hiring managers to execute on the recruitment strategy. The Recruiter will also be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process for our site operations, including attracting, sourcing, and screening top talent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Leading all activities related to internal and external recruitment and other organizational initiatives, as per the collective agreement and management guidelines
Providing guidance and support to management regarding staffing provisions, application of the collective agreement, best practice interviewing strategies, etc.
Partnering with internal stakeholders to design, build and execute strategic hiring plans
Partnering with and conduct pre-posting meetings with hiring managers to ensure a solid understanding of job requirements, developing and maintaining job descriptions and relevant interview guides
Participating in career fairs and ensure effective representation of River Rock as a preferred employer
Networking and creating strong long-term relationships with local talent, peers, and academic institutions
Updating the recruitment log and maintaining monthly recruitment metrics
Partnering and coordinating with the Human Resources team for support in recruitment as needed
Assisting in the preparation of orientation packages
Providing advice and support to team members on all HR policies and processes
Coordinating, processing and entering HR documentation into our HRIS and other databases
Creating and developing internal and external correspondence as required
Filing and administrative tasks as required
Performing other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in full-cycle Recruitment is a must
Experience with high-volume recruiting, having filled multiple concurrent positions within established deadlines
Experience working with ATS and HRIS required
Post-secondary education, ideally within Human Resources, Business, or a related field will be considered an asset
A CPHR designation would be considered an asset
Strong computer skills and working with MS Office programs
Possess strong organizational, presentation, time management and project management skills
Ability to deliver excellent guest service at all levels of the organization and externally
Proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines; ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
The ability to successfully pass a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch
