Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide a full range of product expertise, educating clients on product applications, variations, and accessories across our expansive selection of natural stone, mosaics, and tile and other product categories.
- Assist customers with design recommendations and solutions tailored to their specific project needs.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Establish new accounts through prospecting, research, initiative, and design community networking.
- Follow all procedures and policies for order taking, processing, and follow-through, ensuring accurate data entry into company software.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and providing prompt, professional resolutions.
- Maintain the showroom's cleanliness and neatness to ensure a favorable, hospitable, and inspiring setting for all customers.
- Conduct and/or participate in sales promotions, educational workshops, and company meetings to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and assisting with other duties as required.
As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar sales or customer service role in the interior design, or hard surfaces industry.
- Proven track record of sales accomplishments and the drive to surpass targets.
- Must be people-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills (Fluent in English).
- Must possess entrepreneurial skills and be highly results-oriented.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, including task prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management.
- High level of enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
What is considered an asset?
- Previous sales experience in the stone, surfaces, or construction industry.
- Experience and/or knowledge of interior design and architecture.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor under stressful situations.
- Experience with industry-standard inventory/CRM software.
- ERP Software experience (P21)
Additional Notes
- Schedule is Monday to Saturday with one day off during the week.
