Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Canada. Based in Delta, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to aerospace quality processes and support our mission of innovation and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Scan hard copies of Build records and Receiving Documents in the system
- Check Build records for any record keeping gaps, highlight to TDCC for follow up with operations.
- Check Mylars in production and support TDCC with printouts and distributions
- Work with QEs to generate NCR reports and create trends analysis
- Support QEs with administrative tasks such as scrap rejections report reviews, customer claims datamining, simple search on changes in Smarteam processes
- Support SQD with document review, RMA follow ups and other admin tasks.
- Help ensure documents are properly controlled, clearly labelled, and stored in the correct systems
- Assist with organizing and maintaining controlled quality documentation
- Follow established procedures and complete assigned tasks as instructed
- Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or related program with a focus on quality or manufacturing.
- Strong analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality inspection and control processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with data collection tools and techniques.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in aerospace or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are an advantage.
