We’re on the hunt for a talented and tech savvy Financial Controller to join our team! This strategic-minded and employee-centric LoginRadius brand ambassador is passionate about people but also technology. Your Role

The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Major responsibilities will include Billing and following up with customers. Financial reports and statutory Govt. fillings, cost control, managing day to day transactions, SaaS metrics monitoring and reporting.


  • Manage the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting
  • Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Monitor day to day transactions of the company and work closely with the book keeper
  • Coordinate with bookkeeper and ensure accuracy of transaction entries, reports
  • Manage account payables and receivables in a timely manner
  • Manage billing and ensure timely payment from customers
  • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and booking expenses in proper department
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Preparation of corporate annual report
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Provide financial analysis as needed in particular contract negotiations
  • Responsible for filing corporate taxes, GST / PST
  • Perform department wise business analysis on critical financial metrics and present it to the management
  • Coordinate with external accountant and auditors as required
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Work primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquirers to conduct due diligence.
  • Perform other duties with Finance and Operations Department as required
What you bring to the table

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in software industry
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

  • Experience working with: Microsoft Office, Financial and reporting tools such as Quickbooks
