Gold Collagen Marketing Assistant Canada - will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and performance of Gold Collagen in Canada. Reporting to the North American Marketing Team, the Assistant will focus on developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness and accelerate sales.
This role will work closely with the North American Marketing Team in the UK to implement local market strategies that support success in existing retail channels, such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, and The Real Canadian Superstore, while also driving new customer acquisition.
Must be bilingual, and comfortable with Marketing in Quebec.
This position is based in Burlington, Ontario, with a flexible schedule allowing for a combination of in-office and work-from-home days.
Additionally, the role offers a flexible work schedule, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing both in-office and remote work responsibilities, while driving local market strategies.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Work with North American Marketing Team to Implement Marketing Plans
o Create and execute localized marketing and communication strategies that align with sales goals, market insights, and consumer needs.
o Manage budgets and sales forecasts, ensuring that marketing efforts align with both financial and strategic targets.
2. Campaign Management & Execution
o Lead the creation and implementation of marketing materials, including in-store, digital, media assets, ensuring consistency with global and regional strategies.
o Collaborate with internal teams to localize and deliver effective promotional campaigns that resonate with the Canadian market.
o Develop and execute influencer and key opinion leader (KOL) marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement.
3. Marketing Support
o Provide brand presentations, marketing materials, and training resources to the Norrizon sales team to drive distribution and secure new retail partnerships.
o Attend key account meetings to support market expansion and offer marketing expertise.
4. In-Store Merchandising & Promotions
o Develop and execute promotional and in-store merchandising plans in collaboration with the sales team, analyzing performance to ensure successful execution.
o Oversee the production and implementation of in-store materials while monitoring competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.
5. Performance Analysis & Optimization
o Continuously track and evaluate campaign effectiveness, recommending improvements to drive sales growth and optimize marketing spend.
o Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to guide future marketing strategies.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Act as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
o Support participation in trade shows and manage relationships with local agencies and partners to maximize exposure.
