Prairie Auto Fleet is a local vehicle exporting company. We purchase vehicles within Alberta to export to the US. Some of the vehicles we buy require minor work due to the harsh weather conditions of Alberta. There are no major repairs involved, most of the work is minor rust restoration. Examples include repainting front and rear bumpers, cab corners, and wheel wells.
Qualifications:
- Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
- Mix paint, blend and match colours
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces
- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
Credentials:
- Must have 5+ years of experience as a painter and auto body technician
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation
